Bowling Alley Restaurant Now Open in North Shoal Creek | Eater Austin

"Now open in the former space of The Goodnight, High 5 opens today, November 9, at 2700 West Anderson Lane in North Shoal Creek, with proceeds from opening weekend benefitting CASA of Travis County. This third High 5 location—started in Lakeway by former UT player Scott Emley, with a second spot in Bettendorf, Iowa—serves many of the same burgers, bacon-wrapped jalapenos, and salads while adding new items like a chicken fried steak, duck sliders, and a skirt steak; drinks will include cocktails, beer, and wine. The 15,000-square-foot venue features eight bowling lanes, karaoke, virtual reality, the latest arcade games, a private event space, an outdoor patio, and a mural by Rory Skagen (who painted the Greetings from Austin mural downtown); the venue is 21-and-up after 10 p.m., and the opening weekend will include giveaways and specialty menu items." - Erin Russell
