Pornhub Threatens to Sue East Village Kebab Shop Döner Haus Over Similar Logo | Eater NY

"Opened on East 14th Street in March, the single-location kebab shop's white-and-yellow sign drew comparisons to the pornographic website Pornhub even before it opened; MindGeek sent a cease-and-desist claiming the two logos have "the same general look and feel" and could "cause confusion," and has warned it will take "appropriate legal action" if the restaurant does not change its logo. Pauline Phan, a marketing manager at Döner Haus, says the businesses are in "two completely different business sectors" and that "we will try our very best to fight it." - Luke Fortney
