Cash Only Supper Club Is Downtown’s Swanky New Restaurant | Eater Detroit

"Now open for reservations to anyone willing to pay the $175 price tag for a seven-course menu, Cash Only Supper Club opened below Prime + Proper on May 20 and promises an “ultra-luxurious, Hollywood-glam-inspired vibe.” It's the latest fine-dining concept from Heirloom Hospitality Group (founded in 2017 by Jeremy Sasson). The 1,500-square-foot space seats 52 guests — including six spots at the bar — with soft lighting and decor inspired by Art Deco and Hollywood-glam eras, and enforces a strict cocktail/black-tie dress code (a dinner jacket is required for men). The menu changes monthly and currently includes lobster tartlet, uni crispy rice, A5 Miyazaki wagyu, king crab Vera Cruz, short rib on the bone, salmon and sorrel, a table-side “Cash Caesar,” and truffle risotto; despite the name, credit and debit cards are accepted. The new supper-club format was in the works before a fatal shooting took place at the location when it was still a members-only nightclub in January, after which the space remained closed while the supper club project was completed.
