"For years, French Culinary Institute grad Andrae Bopp was a cult figure on the Walla Walla dining scene, serving first-rate street food from a gas station counter. Now he’s taken over one of the town’s central dining locations, the former home of local hangout Olive. The menu is heavy on the tacos, but also has a Southern accent, featuring shrimp po’ boys, smoked brisket, and Carolina-style pulled pork. There’s breakfast service, including, on Sunday only, Bopp’s legendary beignets." - Matthew Lombardi
