"Employees say the corporate-owned McDonald's at 950 W. Floral Drive in Monterey Park failed to provide safety protocols and protective gear since the pandemic began: in mid-March workers, including Angelica Hernandez, raised concerns; three employees walked off on March 20 accusing management of ignoring them; and on April 10 additional staff walked off asking management to do more to protect workers, close the store for a thorough cleaning, and pay employees for a two-week quarantine.
