"Perched on the ninth floor of the historic National building at 205 North Akard Street, I found Nine billed as a vibrant daytime spot that serves modern European, health-forward fare — think sourdough pancakes, lemony chicken orzo soup and fresh fish — with decor that includes art by Damien Hirst. The restaurant is backed by an impressive team: Jonathon Geffrard is the director of restaurants, bars, and events for Thompson Dallas, Jeramie Robison is the executive chef (previously of Uchi), and Preston Paine serves as chef de cuisine after time at Eleven Madison Park.
