"I learned that Anne and Mike Miller opened what they today bill as Portland’s first dedicated gluten free bakery in 2006 (originally named CCP Gluten Free Baking), and after years focused on wholesale they now have a retail location at 140 NE Broadway St. so the public can try its doughnuts, cookies, and cakes for eating-in or grab-and-go. Launched after the Millers’ daughter was diagnosed with celiac disease, the bakery takes gluten cross-contamination seriously — a commitment reflected in its GFCO certification — and with the retail shop they’re offering new pastries they couldn’t do wholesale, including soft pretzels, cinnamon rolls, and seasonal specials." - Eater Staff
