"Described as a “chic establishment for fine casual dining,” Table25 Fork + Wine — opened by siblings Tekeya Priester and chef Keon Garrett — launched limited dine-in service on Sunday, September 6 after a ribbon-cutting on September 3 as part of Black Restaurant Week, with the goal of bringing a Buckhead- and Alpharetta-style dining experience to Douglasville while continuing to support the community they’ve lived in for more than a decade. The menu is diverse and ranges from fried lobster and collard greens to salmon beurre blanc with grilled asparagus over rustic mashed potatoes, a selection of vegan fare that Garrett promises won’t be a letdown from fine dining, and desserts like an oat crumb apple pie and a molten chocolate lava cake; Priester also plans to host live jazz and other entertainment. While the space seats up to 80 people, initial capacity is limited to 50 inside and 40 on the patio due to the ongoing health crisis; reservations are highly encouraged, masks are required when not seated, and takeout and delivery are available. Garrett’s experience developing menus for Atlanta ventures (including Cam Newton’s cigar bar and restaurant Fellaship) and Priester’s background in luxury travel underpin their stated vision to enhance diversity in Douglasville and create a lasting legacy." - Beth McKibben
