We Went on a Delicious Food Crawl to Beacon Hill’s Best Restaurants | Eater Seattle

"You can't go to Beacon Hill and NOT get a piece of catfish at the Shell gas station at 2424 Beacon Avenue: a single piece is a snack-sized bargain at $2.99, thin-sliced, deep-fried, light and crispy, and perfectly portable (make it peek halfway out of the little cellophane baggie and munch while you walk). The Beacon Hill Shell does a killer job at fryer fare in general (gizzards are a close second), and per local brain genius Charles Mudede it's well established as the best catfish in town — basically like eating an elephant ear at the fair, made of fish." - Meg van Huygen
