In this part of town where locals appreciate dining out and have the means to do so, entrepreneurial restauranteurs and chefs are constantly popping up to deliver exceptional food with ambience to match, which is a tremendous boon to those who live near and far. The latest newcomer making waves is Good Alley in Rosemead from the same folks behind Ji Rong Duck House. While the regional soup dumplings are as delicious as billed, the Chinese burger crammed with cumin lamb piqued my tastebuds. The well-spiced meat was memorable, but the flaky, Shanxi-style thousand-layer pancake “bun” made the dish one to crave." - Eater Staff
