"In the glow of the neon sign, the longtime Sicilian slice spot still draws lines 47 years after opening, and for good reason. A line stretched away from the ordering window but moved quickly, and at the front you can order by the slice or the whole pizza; the combination slice with peppers, olives, sausage, and pepperoni, as well as the pesto slice, caught my eye. While Sicilian-style slices can be a bit dense sometimes, what I got here was akin to a crispy cloud — the outside dark brown with blackened bits, the interior made up of appropriately pale bubbles of gluten — and an hour later, after a Chinese mai tai at Li Po down the street, the leftovers were even better." - Paolo Bicchieri
