"Detroit’s beloved neighborhood bakery Sister Pie is coming out with a cookbook. The book, written by Sister Pie founder Lisa Ludwinski, features 256 pages of stories and recipes from the West Village-based bakery ranging from sour cherry bourbon pie to hand pies to buckwheat chocolate chip cookies to breakfast galettes and Sister salads. Sister Pie got its start in 2013 and opened its brick-and-mortar shop on the corner of Kercheval Avenue and Parker Street in 2015.
