"I found the newly refreshed coworking cafe in Clarendon has been rebranded with a new look, new menu and thoughtful design changes intended for people who work and meet over laptops. Founder Ramzy Azar took over the space last August, renamed it Three Whistles and expects to roll out a menu of Mediterranean small plates in the next few weeks — think labneh, hummus and black olive dips, stuffed piquillo peppers, cheese and charcuterie, and toasts topped with avocado or smoked salmon — though for now the cafe offers pastries, empanadas and packaged sandwiches. Beer and wine flow throughout the day and the space hosts live music at night, while gelato supplied by Dolci Gelati is still sold; Azar even removed stemmed wine glasses because, as he pointed out, having long-stem glasses near a laptop makes them easy to knock over and “everything is intentional here.” The cafe also includes an Arts Nexus series and a kitchen built for rotating pop-ups, reserves part of the space for members with Wi‑Fi, phone booths, conference rooms and printers, and runs open-mic nights twice a month to connect local creatives and chefs with jobs." - Tierney Plumb
