Benbow Room in West Seattle Has New Owner: Ma’ono’s Mark Fuller | Eater Seattle

"I learned that restaurateur Mark Fuller is taking over the decades-old Benbow Room, a landlocked venue long known for its kitschy Pirates of the Caribbean vibes; Fuller plans to bring the Benbow moniker back and expects to spend several months getting the space in shape before reopening. The location has changed hands multiple times over the past 20 years, was most recently an old-school arcade called Vidiot (which closed permanently in late 2019), and the last time the original name was used it was a short-lived 2014–15 revival as the Admiral Benbow, a music-and-cocktail bar. When it reopens, the Benbow will join Fuller’s other West Seattle properties like Ma’ono, Supreme, and the soon-to-reopen New Luck Toy." - Gabe Guarente
