"Located at the corner of Main Street and Utah Avenue, I learned the Horse Trailer Hideout will occupy a thin, 1,912-square-foot Western-themed speakeasy and entertainment venue created by Dane and Marissa Pretkus as an expansion of their Local808Events mobile bartending service. The space will offer two rentable party rooms and serve crafted cocktails from mobile “industrial country-chic” horse trailer bars—popular attractions at corporate events, weddings, and parties around the region—with signature drinks like the tequila-and-Cointreau Desert Rose, the Cowboy Crush, and What Happened In Vegas made with Ambros Banana Whiskey. The trailers will be stored inside the building at 1506 S. Main Street and will accompany live entertainment at least twice a week, including line dancing and bluegrass, country, and acoustic guitar performers; the Hideout plans to source spirits and beers locally and encourage food trucks in the rear courtyard. Still working through the city’s approval process with no debut date announced, the team predicts serving hours of roughly 5 p.m. to 1 a.m." - Bradley Martin
