"Seattleites of a certain vintage will sigh remembering the Queen City Grill, which opened in the 1980s, became a celebrity hotspot when Belltown (and the city) were grittier, then gradually faded; after nearly closing in 2016 it shortened its name to “Queen City,” endured multiple revamps and an ownership change, closed for good, and was replaced by an Argentinian restaurant. Now that restaurant is gone and the place is coming back under Jessica Gifford, who owns multiple Belltown hotspots including Bathtub Gin, with a press release promising a “refreshed design” and a menu “that feels modern while reviving a number of Queen City’s original classics in updated form.”" - Harry Cheadle
