"Set on Peel Street, this extremely stylish and ambitious Spanish restaurant impressed with cathedral ceilings and chandeliers but ultimately disappointed: smaller bites like the molecular “liquid olives” earned praise, yet larger plates fell flat — notably the clams with artichoke and chorizo in a watery broth, which I called “easily the dullest restaurant dish I’ve eaten so far in 2018.” A grilled pork shoulder had passable flavour but was comparable to supermarket pork loin; churros were just “fine,” and a foamy crème Catalane with a crumble came across as pretty bizarre. The service was odd for a fancy spot — no sommelier seemed well-versed in the wine list — and my group felt rushed to leave despite having a full three hours to dine, resulting in a sad, lonely one star." - Tim Forster
