"A new Chinatown restaurant in the Pacific Asian Plaza on Spring Mountain Road combines shabu-shabu hotpots and hand-pulled ramen, letting diners either “swish” at long communal tables with built-in electric hobs or sit in the dining room for a wide noodle and small-plate selection. Hotpot broth choices include Japanese miso, sukiyaki, Korean kimchi-style and house spicy or tomato beef-bone bases; dippers range from rib-eye, wagyu and brisket to lamb and vegetables, and a $19.88 seafood fiesta features mussels, scallops, shrimp, salmon and tilapia. The ramen lineup spans Japanese and Korean creations plus curry beef, hot and sour, a “healthy lamb” option and a $9.88 chef-choice “Surprises Whatever Noodle.” Small plates (about $2.88–$4.88) include fungus salads, vegetable tempura, crispy soft-shell crab, spicy calamari, “drunk chicken” and signature items such as a lamb “kiss” Asian sandwich and a spicy “sexy chicken” made with the house hot sauce. The spot is open daily from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., extending to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays." - Bradley Martin
