"Isaac and Chancey Gamboa are converting the former trattoria at 107 N Robertson Blvd into Gourmando, a new restaurant that will offer a casual breakfast-and-lunch counter (with a small bakery display and a mini-donut shop staffed by pastry chef Betty Park) and a fine-dining dinner service showcasing California seafood, produce, and meats. Evenings will shift to a formal mood with a cocktail menu by Josh Curtis. The sizeable space — 2,250 square feet on the ground floor plus a 630 square-foot mezzanine — will be revamped with new booths and flooring while retaining the main room’s classic chandelier.
