"I report that Desi Vega is bringing his next meaty restaurant, Desi Vega’s Seafood & Steaks, to an office building on Vets in Metairie; it will open in early August in the spot that was Ralph Brennan’s Heritage Grill. In addition to the red meat expected from Vega, he plans to serve steamed crabs and lobster, three types of Gulf fish in various preparations each day, and plenty of other seafood.
