Berkeley Restaurant Worker Allegedly Drugged and Raped a Diner | Eater SF

"I read that a supervisor who worked at the restaurant inside Berkeley’s DoubleTree allegedly bought a woman dinner and drinks there last June, and police say one of the items she consumed at the spot (identified on the hotel’s website as The Berkeley Boathouse) caused her to black out; when she awoke she says she was sexually assaulted. KRON 4 reports DNA evidence led police to 64-year-old Isaac Amiga, and on December 24 he was charged with felony rape by use of drugs, though the Berkeley Police Department says Amiga has denied any involvement." - Eve Batey
