"A family-run South Dallas brunch spot that promised the city’s best brunch but delivered mixed results: service was good and the dining room was mostly empty with an older crowd, making Lee’s family feel out of place. The chicken-and-waffles was enjoyable overall, though the chicken’s coating had clumped syrup in places; the lamb chops were overcooked and bland, the cheesy rice was not to his taste and he couldn’t even identify which dish it accompanied, and the salmon breakfast patties were described as too fishy while the grits were dismissed as “just grits,” with one item rated as low as 1/10." - Courtney E.
