"Izzy’s on the Peninsula, formerly Izzy’s San Carlos, is a nearly 20-year-old, family-run steakhouse that will reopen after being closed since June 2022. The restaurant, redesigned by GACHOT, will seat 245 guests across various spaces including a main dining room, a bar and lounge, two private dining rooms, and an outdoor garden patio. The menu, crafted by executive chef Vincent Castillo, will feature a selection of USDA-certified Creekstone Farms steaks and off-menu cuts from Flannery Beef, along with starters like Dungeness crab fritters and prime rib sliders. The wine list includes selections from Napa Valley, Sonoma County, and Mendocino County, and the cocktail menu features unique drinks such as the Notable Harlots and Portuguese Coffee.
