"Top Chef alum Jackson Kalb and his wife-partner Melissa Kalb expanded their successful Southern Italian-inflected concept, Ospi, to Orange County on December 13. The LA favorite, which first opened in Venice in 2020, is known for its scratchmade pastas, thin cracker-like Roman pizzas, and top-selling butter chicken parm. The restaurant opened at Paseo 17 in Costa Mesa; and the development on 17th Street also houses Rye Goods bakery and Mercado Mesa.
