"Before trekking to Sleepy Hollow, I stopped at Dale Talde’s Cantonese restaurant inside the elegant King Mansion, where the lobster and crab stir-fried noodles ($52.50) were outstanding — large clumps of lobster and bits of crab tangled with tender, chewy noodles that tasted even better the next day as leftovers. The main dining room’s portraits of famous faces with Westchester ties turned into a fun mealtime guessing game, and the smoked chile garlic beef brisket ($42.50) was also nice, with crunchy lotus root and rice cakes, though I could’ve used more of the latter." - Stephanie Wu
