"Located a short walk down Pacific Avenue from Water Street in the roomy corner space at the Pacific Center (previously home to Tio Julio's and the Islander’s Grill), this new breakfast-and-lunch restaurant promises "fresh home style food made with love." The diner has been renovated into a casual American spot and features a vintage Pacific Railroad train in its logo. The menu centers on familiar breakfast favorites—egg dishes served with seasoned potatoes or hash browns; omelets (Denver, California, Western, and veggie); burritos and scrambles; waffles and short stacks—alongside island-influenced items such as loco moco and an island breakfast served with white rice and a choice of Spam or Portuguese sausage. For lunch there are burgers, salads, chili, and a range of sandwiches including a French dip, the kitchen’s spin on a Reuben, a Philly steak, and a tuna melt. Open daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m." - Bradley Martin
