"The owners of Jam Restaurant, known for one of the city's best brunches, are opening 3 Squares Diner in Uptown on Friday. The restaurant will be on the ground floor of Lawrence House, a rehabbed 344-unit apartment building at 1020 W. Lawrence Avenue. Unlike Jam, which operates only for breakfast, lunch, and weekend brunch, 3 Squares Diner will offer dinner as well. The diner features interiors inspired by a 1920s aesthetic. The building, formerly a hotel, includes a cocktail bar and coffee shop." - Ashok Selvam
