"A Potrero Hill bar that's a longtime haven for Boston sports fans, The Connecticut Yankee is electric on Patriots Sundays: fans pack the bar, set up a shrine with a Patriots helmet in the pool room, and when there's a touchdown co-owner Tony Cooney rings a big bell and fires up a fog machine. The bar's beloved garden gnome, Rob Gnomekowski—a gnome likeness of Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski that has perched in the patio garden since Cooney and partners took over in 2015—is missing after a game against the Jaguars; regulars sit near it, cheer it, and even buy it a beer, and Cooney says it's considered good luck. He discovered it gone while tending the garden (their chef also picks herbs back there), reviewed security footage but couldn't spot the gnome because it was blocked by a tree, and has made a missing poster offering a reward of four seats at The Connecticut Yankee for the Super Bowl to whoever returns the marked gnome; he adds that if it’s gone for good they’ll find something else, even joking it might have stowed away to Minnesota." - Caleb Pershan
