"Yet to publicly announce a fixed opening schedule, but already including breakfast specials on the menu, the 2,095-square-foot Taqueria El Buen Pastor sits inside the shuttered former Baja Fresh on the southwest side of the Mall Ring Circle, right at the intersection of Stephanie Street and Sunset Road. The counter-service space offers plenty of seats inside and features a self serve area for condiments and salsas. On the menu, $9 burritos, hurrache or tortas, $5.50 sopes, $13 chicken flautas with rice and beans, and the always popular $11.50 asada fries or nachos. Tacos include lengua, cabeza, chorizo, pollo, asada and tripa choices, priced between $2.50 and $3 each.
