Isshindo Ramen Opens at Super 88 in Allston - Eater Boston

"The long-awaited Isshindo Ramen (1 Brighton Ave., Boston) is officially open for business. Isshindo (tagline: “ramen with a soul”) filled the space left vacant when beloved ramen shop Pikaichi shuttered in November 2017. Isshindo specializes in tonkotsu ramen but offers miso- and tomato-based broths as well. The restaurant also offers dumplings, seaweed salad, takoyaki, fried chicken, and rice bowls. Isshindo doesn’t have a liquor license, so don’t expect to wash that salty broth down with a frosty pint of Asahi." - Terrence Doyle
