"After 13 years in Las Vegas, Tommy Bahama is revamping its Town Square restaurant into Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar, set to open in mid-August. Doug Wood, the CEO of Tommy Bahama, describes the new casual dining and shopping experience as “a fun, lively place that leads with the bar, offers great food, great ambiance, and a relaxed shopping experience.” The 5,560-square-foot, open-floor-plan location flows from the restaurant and bar into the retail store and includes a large covered patio; diners place their orders at the bar and servers deliver. The bar will offer cocktails, frozen drinks, zero-proof cocktails, and more, while the menu highlights fan favorites like Tommy Bahama’s coconut shrimp and chicken mango salad as well as tacos, sliders, handheld sandwiches, and bowls. The original Tommy Bahama Restaurant, Bar & Store will close in August before Marlin Bar debuts, which plans to be open Sunday–Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday–Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m." - Susan Stapleton
