"Opening weekend festivities are scheduled for Saturday, December 7, and Sunday, December 8, with free samples, live music, a DJ, and giveaways; the space will operate all day from morning to evening and bring together four different Japanese food and drink concepts under one roof. “It’s a new beginning for our location in North Park. We have revitalized our space by bringing together a collection of Japanese brands offering 'Bakery, Bites, and Brews' for our customers,” co-owner William Sutjiadi tells Eater. The 2,000-square-foot interior includes a dining area for up to 50 guests and a bar for 15 guests (outdoor tables will be available after the grand opening), and there are 16 taps for beer, hard teas, hard seltzers, and hard kombuchas; there will also be sake, wine sochu, and chu-hi (sochu highball). Happy-hour deals (including $3 pints) and a tasting-room format will accompany the beverage program. “We will be opening additional locations as the opportunity arises. We’re definitely looking to expand to the Convoy District for sure,” Sutjadi tells Eater." - Helen I. Hwang
