"Formerly Vasantha Bhavan (the restaurant sign still bears this name), this Tamil cafe is a new addition to the food delivery apps. Now, it offers its famous South Indian breakfasts and buffets at home, open from 9am instead of 7am, and throughout the day. Dosa, idli and veg thalis are all available to enjoy, as well as a selection of snacks." - Angela Hui, Shekha Vyas

Feijão do Luis

Brazilian restaurant · Fitzrovia

"Feijão do Luís started in 1996, when the “Brazilian Touch Cafe” was inaugurated on Oxford Street, in the center of London. Although it was small and hidden inside a larger store, it became increasingly popular among the Brazilian community, and before long, the majority of Brazilians in London knew the place. It was decorated with vibrant paintings, played Brazilian music, and sold a variety of sweets and Brazilian desserts. But what truly made it famous was the feijoada – the traditional Brazilian dish – and the café soon became known as Feijão do Luís, in honor of its founder Luiz de Souza. More than just a café, Feijão do Luís became a meeting point for Brazilians in London."
