"I was told by Kara Chamberlain, manager of the JCB Tasting Salon and the new JCB Salon Privé in Yountville, that large groups should call ahead and be honest about their expectations because the salons can customize experiences—for example, a 16-person wedding party can be set up to be more fun rather than educational. She also advised allowing plenty of buffer time for purchasing wine, using the restroom, and loading everyone back on the bus, and to call the winery if you’re running late; while gratuity isn’t expected it definitely goes a long way, and wineries will often waive tasting fees with a purchase." - Eater
