"Originally planned as a shared project with the fourth local outpost of Poke Poku, the under-construction 3,260-square-foot restaurant will now become the main attraction on the southeast’s Bermuda Road. Chinatown favorite W G Constructors is overseeing a 'dynamic' and 'modern' buildout that highlights unlimited fresh oysters and sushi. Executive chef Eric Lee intends a seasonally changing menu sourcing seafood from the West Coast and Europe, offering both à la carte and all-you-can-eat options; revealed items include sashimi, tempura, meat and vegetable skewers, a 16-piece chef-selected seafood chirashi, and chicken katsu. Playful starters such as quail egg and oyster shooters will sit alongside appetizers like butter-grilled corn cheese, soft-shell crab, and Cajun edamame, plus an eight-piece 'monkey brain' (halved avocado stuffed with fillings such as cream cheese, tuna, salmon, or crab). Early plans call for daily service from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. (noon on Sundays), though an updated opening date has not been announced." - Bradley Martin
