"Started by Alan Yau, this casual Turkish pide restaurant is slated to open at 64 Kensington High Street in west London later in the summer after its Wardour Street Soho site unexpectedly closed last September (that original site is now a Princi bakery). The brand, which opened its first location in 2015 though Yau was not involved after 2017, describes the concept as casual dining with pide at the heart of the menu; it has already opened a branch in Dubai and intends to open in Istanbul. Pide here refers to a wood-oven-cooked, boat-shaped flatbread served with toppings such as ground lamb or beef, Sucuklu (Turkish sausage) and Peynirli (butter and cheese).
