"A new restaurant has opened within the Hotel Indigo at 276 Friend St., near Boston’s North Station: Blake’s Kitchen & Bar operates as a separate business from the hotel (the Hotel Indigo is part of IHG, while Blake’s is part of Atit Jariwala’s Bridgeton) and will hold a grand opening at a later date as it finishes decor meant to evoke a traditional English pub. Breakfast offerings include egg sandwiches, lobster Benedict, avocado toast, French toast, oatmeal, and beverages such as juices, lemonade, and local Fazenda coffee. For dinner I found a selection of raw bar items, salads, chicken wings, and soft pretzel appetizers, with entrees that range from sandwiches (including a classic lobster roll) to steak tips and a New England clam bake with steamers and mussels; many ingredients are sourced locally. The beverage program features cocktails, wine by the glass, and beer, including a Blake’s exclusive honey blond saison brewed by Cambridge Brewing Co. Blake’s is open for breakfast Monday–Friday 6:30–10:30 a.m. and weekends 7–11 a.m., and for dinner Sunday–Thursday 4:30–10 p.m. and Friday–Saturday 4:30–11 p.m." - Dana Hatic
