"There’s good reason why most Las Vegas locals stand by Tacos El Gordo as the best taco spot in town. All four Tacos El Gordo locations offer Tijuana-inspired tacos filled with asada, buche, tripa, and brisket. The location on Charleston Boulevard has a drive-thru, which moves pretty quickly considering there’s a line all day. Inside, each meat gets its own queue. One line is for the flame-licked al pastor shaved fresh from a vertical spit, another for carne asada. Each queue feeds a separate station, and if you’re ordering for a group, you’re best off splitting up, placing your orders in parallel, then regrouping with a paper plate piled high in each hand.
