"Tucked up on Spring Hill in the former Yummy Hut space at 217 Highland Ave., I found Dumpling Kitchen to be a tiny counter-service spot that’s primarily takeout and delivery but does have a couple of tables if you want to carefully slurp soup dumplings right away. The menu spans Chinese-American delivery staples like crab rangoon, beef teriyaki, and General Gau’s chicken, as well as spicier, more regional dishes—spicy Sichuan seafood, mala pots, a dry wok frog dish, preserved egg with chilled tofu, roast beef wrapped in a scallion pancake, and more. It’s open daily from 11 a.m. to midnight." - Rachel Leah Blumenthal
