"On the main drag of Alexandria’s family-friendly Del Ray neighborhood, a new spot opened at 2419 Mount Vernon Avenue that focuses on on-site pasta and a range of pizzas with crusts that swing from thick to thin. I describe a menu that expands on sibling Café Pizzaiolo: New York-style pizzas by the slice, hefty square Detroit-style pies, flatbreads, baked wings, spaghetti and meatballs, stuffed portobello mushrooms with broccoli rabe, eggplant parmesan, and salads topped with grilled shrimp.
