"On the corner of Union and Columbus, this North Beach institution has operated for more than 50 years and features menu highlights like Graffeocoffee roasted fresh a few blocks down Columbus, cold Peroni on draft, and Liguria focaccia that has been feeding the neighborhood since World War I; if I grab a seat at the bar on a sunny Thursday I’m likely to enjoy the company of retired locals with long-standing orders, while the parklet is the only option to continue basking in Washington Square Park with a coffee, beer, or Italian soda — making it, to me, the best Peroni in town largely because of the neighborhood vibe." - Matt Tillquist
