"Amid the nightlife chaos of Soho, this aptly-named neighborhood bar is a welcomed respite, an indoor-outdoor space offering a calming laid-back place to decompress. The Soho Backyard has a distinctly local feel, partly from the historic Tampa black and white pictures lining the walls, but more from the patrons who seem to hail mostly from the nearby low-rise condos. The food menu is a little more elevated than what you’d find in the rest of the neighborhood — think a seared ahi tuna BLT and a burrata and arugula salad. If you want to enjoy Soho’s spacious backyard sunshine, grab a chair on the patio, strike up a conversation with some regulars, and savor the spicy, tangy flavor of an Astral Margarita." - Matthew Meltzer
