Great Gold Restaurant Opens for Italian Classics in SF’s Mission - Eater SF

"Great Gold will replace Foxsister on 24th Street this Friday. Chef/partner Brandon Kirksey and David Steele will start serving classics like spaghetti and meatballs and veal parm in the space this Friday, August 9. Great Gold will keep the same funky look as Foxsister, retaining a wheat paste mural by Cheyenne Randall and a facade by graffiti artist Apexer. Chef Kirksey and chef de cuisine Timmy Malloy will turn their attention to staples like bucatini amatriciana, garlic focaccia, clams casino, and cioppino.
