"A new dairy-free soft-serve shop is set to open at the end of May, focusing on coconut milk-based soft serve with a takeout window for non-dairy treats. Built by the team behind HÀO—siblings Charles, Rachelle and William Deluvio—along with real estate developer Sébastien Leboeuf and Alexis Diestro (formerly of Pied de Cochon), the shop is described by Charles Deluvio as “a minimal soft-serve shop using nothing but good ingredients.” Customers can expect inventive, made-from-scratch flavours beyond vanilla and chocolate that will rotate with the seasons, drawing on local greenmarket fruits and herbs as well as Asian-inspired ingredients; in contrast to the savoury menu at HÀO, SWIRL will focus on simple sweet treats.
