"A casual lakeside breakfast-and-lunch spot at the entrance to the Lake Town Center that encourages patrons to “start your day the right way.” Housed in the same building as a wedding vendor, the compact space mixes booth seating and tables and is planning live "Salsa Sundays." Breakfast (served until 11:30 a.m. on weekdays with extended weekend brunch) features island-inspired items like sweet plantain pancakes, breakfast tacos, the huevocado (an avocado fan on golden-brown Cuban toast), and the vaca frita (breaded deep-fried New York steak with yucca mash and two eggs any style). The main menu offers sourdough bowls, empanadas, tossed greens, the "El Beny" Cuban mojo slow-roasted pork loin sandwich, and small bites such as the "Flying Jerks" jerk-rub chicken wings with pineapple dipping ranch. Open daily from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m." - Bradley Martin
