"A small micro-roastery and coffee truck run by brothers Sergio and Juan Trujillo that sources beans directly from small farms in Colombia, offering unique coffees you won’t find elsewhere. Since opening in 2022 it has become a bustling morning gathering spot in a food-truck park, with plenty of seating (patio, benches, high-top tables) and a cheerful, friendly vibe—loud-but-not-too-loud music, samples and banter from Juan, and a crowd that ranges from local parents and tech workers to tourists. Lines can get long, especially on weekends, so earlier is better; a recent visit was still under half an hour, helped by a newly opened second truck downtown. The menu includes classic espresso drinks but the specials draw most people: the brown sugar-miso latte (noted for its hint of umami), a popular matcha, seasonal fruit-forward drinks like the summertime “Lili Peach” (fermented peaches, honey, peach cream), and carefully curated cold brews Juan will happily recommend. The sole food offering—brown-butter chocolate chip cookies with toffee and pecans—is house-made using the brothers’ own chocolate and comes highly recommended. Overall it’s a feel-good place for an excellent, ethically sourced pick-me-up where you’ll likely leave smiling." - Erin Russell
