"A Buford-area winery founded in 2020 that takes a minimal-intervention, largely organic approach to winemaking, producing unfined and unfiltered natural wines that aim to modernize Georgia’s reputation. Led by an experienced winemaker with prior roles at Chateau Elan and Biltmore and supported by general manager/assistant winemaker Blessy Devasia, the operation manages lomanto and villard blanc plots organically (using minimal organic sprays) and is pursuing regenerative organic certification. Their lineup includes a distinctive skin-contact Marsanne—gold in color with notes of orange peel, cantaloupe, nutmeg, honey, grilled apricot and herbs—a refreshing chardonnay pet‑nat with green apple, pear and lemon notes, and a lomanto-based red; the winery uses wholesale relationships to broaden exposure despite slimmer margins and to help change consumers’ preconceived ideas about Georgia wine." - Henna Bakshi
