"Entangled in a high-profile legal scandal, the 34-year-old bar and music venue has been thrust into the spotlight after its former owner, Michael Johnston, was forced out as chief executive of Audiotree. Johnston pled not guilty in December to allegations that he and his wife made inappropriate recordings of two women at their Roscoe Village home, and now faces two additional felony charges after two more women came forward claiming he used spy cameras to record them—one allegedly recorded nude in 2019 while dog- and housesitting, and another, a housekeeper, recorded in 2019 and 2020 while fully clothed; Johnston is due in court on April 4, while the first complaint filed in October 2020 involving Johnston and his wife is set for March 14." - Naomi Waxman
