Portland’s Tov Coffee Is Selling Its Iconic Double-Decker Bus | Eater Portland

"A decade ago Joseph Nazir bought a red double-decker bus in San Diego for $10,000 and brought it up to Portland; until he got a brick-and-mortar in 2023 that bus served as his Egyptian coffee shop and became a quirky landmark on Southeast Hawthorne Boulevard. Now the bus is being sold because, as the owner told KOIN 6, “It was just a lot of money going out with maintenance and keeping the heat and all that.” Nazir said that he is hoping to get between $75,000 and $100,000 for it, which he thinks is a fair price given its history and the renovation he undertook to make it a coffee shop; “He would also accept $50,000,” KOIN 6 writes, “with the hope that the new owner would preserve it.” Interested buyers can reach him on Instagram." - Harry Cheadle
