"Lumen, located at the corner of Grand River Avenue and Cass Avenue in downtown Detroit, is a new Belgian-style beer hall and brasserie. The restaurant is a collaboration between park developer DTE Energy and the LePage family, known for owning several restaurants in metro Detroit. It features a LEED-certified building design by Boston-based firm Touloukian Touloukian and interior design by Saroki Architecture. The venue offers a casual dining experience with a menu that includes cheese, charcuterie, schnitzel-style Michigan pork chop, and Michigan-brewed beers. It has 125 seats inside with retractable windows and plenty of outdoor seating including a rooftop patio. Lumen serves dinner initially with plans for lunch and brunch services later." - Brenna Houck
